While yurts are traditionally associated with nomadic Mongolian warriors, the term “yurt” actually originates from Turkey and translates to “imprint in the ground.” The Mongolian name for these ancient dwellings is “ger,” meaning “home.” Our yurt at Bloomsburys is handmade in the UK by the amazing Yurts for life and features a specially designed interior including kind sized bed, dressing tables, bedside lights, and tiny details that will make you feel instantly at home.
