Bloomsburys Biddenden will be closing with immediate effect, until further notice.
It is with a heavy heart that we write this post, but the message from the UK Government was very clear last night.
As you will know, the country is effectively in lockdown with only certain shops and businesses allowed to be open to the public.
We knew that this day was coming, as many people did.
We will re-open as soon as we can, but when will depend on you as much as us.
The more we keep to the lockdown rules as set out by the PM last night, the sooner life will return to normal and for most of us life will return to normal.
Some people won’t be so lucky, but tragedies will be greatly reduced if we stick to the lockdown.
The initial period, as outlined by the UK Government is 3 weeks, after which time they will review the situation.
We will of course comply with any guidance laid down by them.
We will keep everyone informed accordingly through Facebook and on our website.
We are still open for enquiries and would love to chat to you about holiday or wedding plans for later in the year so do message us or drop us an email.
May we take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support at this time, but especially may we thank all of the NHS workers, both frontline, those on NHS 111, who are each dealing with tens of thousands of calls and those making very difficult decisions in these unprecedented times.

For bookings from now until the end of April
If you have a booking on our system between now and the end of April, you must not travel. There is no need to call us. We will contact you to rearrange your booking for later in the year.
For bookings in May
We will continue to follow government advice and will make a statement on May bookings as soon as the situation becomes clear. We will also be contacting each of you with the option to either keep your May booking or move it to later in the year.
For bookings from June onwards
All bookings from June can be amended to any available date in the next 15 months without any charge. Cancelled bookings will be subject to our standard cancellation policy.
